Born on February 21, 1916 and died peacefully on February 21, 2015, her 99th birthday. She grew up in Sebeka, Minnesota and graduated from Sebeka H.S. In October of 1940, Linda married Vincent Von Vett and was married for 54 years, until Vince's death in 1994. She was a resident of Blaine and Andover for over 65 years. For the last 20 years, Linda lived with her son, and more recently, her daughter. Linda was a homemaker, enjoyed traveling with Vince, and worked for The Star & Tribune for many years. After retirement, Linda spent many of her summer days gardening and enjoyed spending time with her family.
