Marjorie Louise Mitzel of York died Nov. 28 at Rest Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was 88.

Mrs. Mitzel worked at various sewing factories as a seamstress.
Born in Union Bridge, Md., Jan 8, 1913, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Sarah Groft Stone. She was the wife of the late John D. Mitzel.

She leaves three daughters, Sue Mitzel of York, Norma Beitzel of Spry and Betty Arnold of Boiling Springs; three sons, H. David Mitzel of York, Jack Seiple of Lancaster and William Seiple of Lebanon; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Viewing is 10 to 11 a.m. tomorrow at the John H. Danner Funeral Home, 822 E. Market St. The service is at 11 a.m. tomorrow with the Rev. Steve Almquist and the Rev. Courtland Howard officiating.

Burial is in Mount Rose Cemetery.
