Corning Leader - January 28, 1927
Frank V. Tapper, a young farmer of Hornby died early this morning, January 28, 1927 at 1:30 o'clock at the Bath Sanitarium following an illness of six weeks. Mr. Tapper, who was 28 years, was born in Sweden, June 1898. He was married to Julia Inscho about five years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Tapper had resided in Hornby for the past year.
Besides his wife, Mr. Tapper is survived by his father, John Tapper, of Sweden; three children, Frank, aged four year, Anna May aged two years, and Awanda, aged four months; two sisters, Hulda Hogland of Sweden, and Selma Svenheim of Bedford; and one brother, John Tapper, of Campbell.
The body has been removed to the Phillips Funeral Home, where friends may call. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon from the Phillips Funeral Home. Dr. Charles Collins, pastor of the Painted Post Methodist Episcopal Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The funeral of Frank V. Tapper, who died Friday morning at Bath, was held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Funeral Home of Irene S. Phillips. The Rev. Charles Collins, pastor of the Painted Post Methodist Episcopal Church, officiated. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Painted Post.
The bearers were Oscar Johanson, Edward Martinson, Walter Killjen, Gustaf Hanson, Arvid Vilender and Carl Monson.
