James Rudy Hayden, 62 of 1567 Hill Bridge Road Utica, Ky. died on May 25, 2005 at his home. He was born in Detroit, Michigan to the late John E. Hayden and Ruth Reisz Hayden. He owned and operated Rudy's Furniture Store for 33yrs., was a US ARMY Veteran, a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church, enjoyed hunting, and was a NASCAR fan. Surviving are his wife of 37yrs. of marriage, Carrol Hayden; one son, John Hayden and his wife, Angie of Utica; one daughter, Julie Breeden and her husband, Walter of Louisville; one grandson, Alex Hayden; one granddaughter, Haley Reed; two brothers, Larry Hayden and his wife, Brenda, Pat Hayden and his wife, Sylvia both of Owensboro; several nieces and nephews. Services are at 1:30pm. Friday at Blessed Mother Catholic Church, visitation from 3 to 8pm. Thursday and 9 to 1pm. Friday, prayers will be said at 6pm. Thursday. Reverend Freddie Byrd will officate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
