Ellen Agnes Tablett, age 95, of Mount Vernon, went home to her heavenly father on Wednesday February 25, 2015 at the Ohio Eastern Star Home in Mount Vernon where she previously worked before and after getting her L.P.N. at age 50. She was born on September 2, 1919 in Virginia, Ill., to John and Mabel (Hudson) Miller.

Ellen was a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Ocala, Fl.

She is survived by three daughters; Creta (Oscar ) Hunt of Fredericktown, Doris (Lloyd) Hyatt of Fredericktown, and Linda (Roger) Johnson of Florida; two sons; Harold (Liz) Tablett of Fredericktown and Edward (Louise) Tablett of Virginia; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters; Edna Dodge of Marysville and Velma Carpenter of Florida.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Louis H. Tablett in 1978, a brother, Gene Miller, two sisters, Elda Cline and Slyvia Doup, and three grandchildren.

A Celebration of life service will be held on Saturday February 28, 2015 at 11 AM at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home; 201 Newark Rd., Mount Vernon, Ohio, where friends may call from 10 AM till the time of service, Pastor Marvin Haught will be officiating. Burial will take place at Riley Chapel Cemetery following the service.
