He was born Jan. 22, 1886, in Stone County, MO. to Meredith T. & Sophia Belle (Evans) Reynolds. Dr. Reynolds first began his medical practice in Grandview, Ark., in 1911 after graduating from the University of Arkansas Medical School. Later he practiced in Locust Grove, Ark., and Westville, Okla., prior to moving to Neosho. He opened a hospital on Hamilton Street in Neosho in the early 1930s and sold it in 1940 moving to an uptown office. His last office was located at 208 S. Washington, on "the square".
Dr. Reynolds was a member of the Westville Masonic Lodge 186 and the Neosho Senior Citizens Club.
The only surviving member of his immediate family at the time of his death was my Grandmother, Mary (Reynolds) Carter. Doc Reynolds never married.
Services were held at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Neosho with the Rev. Thurman Kelly officiating.
