ARNDT-Suddenly, at his home, 40 East Main St., Ontario, N. Y., Wednesday, Dec. 17, 1941, Rev. William Arndt, age 76 years. He is survived by his wife, Lillie; two sons, William H. and Immanuel J. Arndt of Rochester; two daughters, Miss Hilda Arndt, of Ontario, Mrs. John Furber of Ontario Center; three granddaughters.
-Friends may call at the home until 10 a. m. Saturday, from where private services will be held at 12 o'clock noon. Thebody will lie in state from 1:30 to 2:30 o'clock at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Webster at which time funeral services will be held. Burial in Webster Rural Cemetery.

Memorial Service Delays Observance

Memorial services for the late Rev. William Arndt, pastor for 50 years of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Webster, which took place in the church last Sunday morning caused postponement of Christmas exercises scheduled for that evening until tomorrow at 7:30 p. m., according to an announcement by the Rev. Erich O. Brandt, present pastor. Children of the church school will have a part in the program, with Mrs. Charles Nichols, chairman.
