Spencer was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a retired truck driver for Jones Motor and also worked at Seaway Mfg. He was a member of the American Legion Post 571 and the Star Club.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Rex Adam, sisters, Mary Miller and Charlotte Robinson, and brothers, William Adam and Robert Adam.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Pauline Dickey Adam of Edinboro, sons, Mark Adam of Erie, and Daniel Adam and his wife Lisa of Spokane WA, daughters, Sherri Koral (Mike Lewis) of Edinboro, and Debra White of St. Petersburg FL., 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in the Soldiers & Sailors Home Cemetery.
