Yvonna Mae James passed away in the comfort of her home at 1:30 p.m. on February 25, 2015 at the age of ninety-two.

She was born in Castle Dale to Clarence Paul Anderson and Iona Mae Oveson Anderson.

She was a member of the LDS Church and was married to Earl O. James on November 26, 1938 in Castle Dale. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti Temple on December 19, 1964.

She was talented in music, art, cooking, and baking. She made birthday and wedding cakes upon request. She was a great seamstress. She made wedding and formal gowns and other clothing. She was a homemaker extraordinaire and a devoted wife and mother.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors are sons, Louis and Arthur; daughter, Vearla James Warner; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Helper Stake Center. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 27, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home and prior to the services at the church on Saturday from 10:00-10:45 a.m.
Interment: Mountain View Cemetery, Helper.
