Cindy Acocks Hahn, age 56, slipped her earthly bonds on February 20, 2015 at her home in West Jordan.

She leaves behind her physical challenges and difficulties, and the people who love her the most…daughter, Rachel, granddaughter, Amberlynn, and husband, Mark, in addition to siblings, Margie Simmons, Dave (Hallie), Kerry (Angie), Steve, and Matt (Valerie) Acocks, niece Jan (Rob) Fox, with whom she had a special relationship in addition to many nieces and nephews.

Cindy is sure to be remembered by the scores of clients she lovingly served while working as a program coordinator and job coach for adults with disabilities for 19 years with DDI Vantage in Salt Lake City. She was always at her best and happiest when helping others.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald "Big Jer" and Kathleen Acocks, son, Brandon Johnson, brother-in-law, Denny Simmons, and father-in-law, Ed Hahn.

A celebration of Cindy's life will be held Sunday, March 1, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Neil O'Donnell and Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South, where friends may call one hour prior. A light heart and colorful attire will be entirely appropriate.

In lieu of flowers, donations to The Road Home or other homeless aid program would make Cindy very happy.
