Lula L. Williams
RICHMOND, Ind. -- Lula L. Williams, age 79, of Richmond, died Sunday, May 14, 2006, at Reid Hospital.
She was born June 22, 1926, in Columbus, Ohio, to Ora and Thelma O'Conner Hill and lived in this community most of her life.
Lula was a homemaker and attended St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her children, Gray McHaley of Ashville, N.C., Donna Barrett of Lexington, Ind., Loren Williams of Richmond, James "Jimmy" Williams of Richmond, Sondra "Sandy" Blythe of Tompkinsville, Ky.; stepson, Larry Williams of Richmond; 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Juanita Hill of Columbus, Ohio, Tellie McFarland of New Lisbon, Ind., and Betty Hilabrand of Richmond.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Loren Williams; her parents; stepson, Donnie Williams; and brother, Ora Hill.
Funeral service for Lula L. Williams will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 18, 2006, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road W., Richmond, with Rev. Jerry Mielke officiating. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, at the funeral home.
