WAUKEE - A funeral for Jennie Luke, 89, of Waukee was held Jan. 19, 1994 at Fisher Funeral Home at Adel, with burial following at Waukee Cemetery. Miss Luke died of a respiratory ailment on Jan. 16 at Mercy Hospital Medical Center at Des Moines.
The daughter of Charles and Mary Luke, she was born at Hocking on April 19, 1904. She lived in Waukee most of her life and she was a homemaker.
Miss Luke was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother, John.
Survivors include a brother, Clarence Luke, and a sister, Clara Davis, both of Waukee.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Waukee United Methodist Church.
