Was Resident Of City For Many Years
Mrs. Bridget Sheehan, for many years a resident of Springfield, died at 10 p.m. yesterday at her home, 121 West Reynolds street. She was the widow of Thomas F. Sheehan.
Born in New York City, she came to Springfield when a child and has resided here since that time. She was a member of the St Agnes parish and it's Altar and Rosary society.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Edward F. Devlin, Mrs. Alex R. Connolly and Mrs. Joe Fortune, Sr., all of this city, and Mrs. Margaret Factor, at home; one son, James T. Sheehan, city, and four grandchildren, Joe and Mary Fortune and Robert and Stuart Sheehan; a nephew, Edward F. Tobin, Lincoln.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bridget Sheehan, 121 West Reynolds street, will be held at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 1940 at the residence of a daughter, Mrs. Joe Fortune, Sr., 414 West Adams street, and at 9 a.m. at St. Agnes' Church.
Rev. William Costello will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The Altar and Rosary society of St. Agnes' church will gather at the home of Mrs. Fortune at 8 p.m. today to recite the rosary.
