Benson B. Moore, artist, printmaker and picture restorer, died at his Sarasota home, aged 92. Born in Washington, D.C., he was the son of Caroline and John Benson Moore.
Moore studied at the Corcoran School of Art, Washington, D.C. He married Florence Katherine Ward 19 Dec, 1908, in this city.
Benson Moore was a member of the Landscape Club of Washington, D.C., a group of male artists who met to draw and paint outdoors.
Predeceased by his wife, Benson moved to Sarasota, Florida, after her death.
He was survived by his sister-in-law, Mary Jane Moore.
