MRS GRISAK PIONEER DIES HERE

A lifetime resident of Otero County, Alma Elvira Grisak, 46, and daughter of a pioneer family of the area died yesterday at Gerald Champion Memorial Hospital where she was gravely ill for three weeks.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Mullins-Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel by Milton Bruster of the Church of Christ. Friends may call between 7-9 p.m tonight at Mullins-Hamilton. Interment will be tomorrow at Monte Vista Cemetery.

The deceased was the daughter of the late Otero County pioneer David Wesley Lewis who settled in the area in its early epoch. Mrs Grisak’s usual residence was at High Rolls. She was born at Weed and had numerous relatives throughout the county.

Among the survivor are her husband Pete of High Rolls, three daughters, Wesley Lynn, and Gracie Elane both of High Rolls, and Mrs. Edward Parker, Bent; two sons, John R. Grisak, Alamogordo and Pete Albert of Silver City.

Other survivors are two sisters, Mrs. George Green, La Luz; Mrs. Basil Farris, San Antonio; four brothers, Richard Lewis, Deming; Dave Lewis, Alamogordo; and Charley and Albert Lewis of La Luz; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers include Vernon Cady, Fred Gentry, Alamogordo; C. W. Winters, Artesia; Lewis Ellison, High Rolls; Ross Hooten, Mayhill; and James K. Polk, La Luz.
