Dorothy Scoggins, of Lebanon, passed away on February 26, 2015 at age 82. The Funeral Service, conducted by Reverend Gordon Lee, is 2 p.m. Monday, March 2, 2015 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home. Visitation is Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 2-6 p.m. and on Monday from noon until the service. Interment in Wilson County Memorial will follow the service on Monday, with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Quality Care Health Center. Mrs. Scoggins was affiliated with the Church of God. She is survived by children: Marla (Cornel) Denney, Angela (Mark) Cunningham, and Cheryl (Jimmy) Willoughby; sister: Vera (John) Wrye; grandchildren: Heather (Scott) Stein, Justin Willoughby, Micheal Cunningham, and Serenia Benchic; great-grandchildren: Janice Benchic and Kaleb Stein; and many loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by husband David R. Scoggins, son Charles R. Scoggins, parents George and Ruth Cox, and siblings Riley Cox, James Cox, Charles Cox, Wayne Cox, David Cox, and Zettie Hamlet.
