Mrs. Mosley was born Feb. 11, 1933, in Columbus, Ohio, to Samuels and Katherine Lillian Barber Hendricks.
Betty attended Columbus schools.
A licensed beautician, she was an alumna of a beauty school in Columbus and later graduated from Shenango Valley School of Business in Sharon.
Betty enjoyed singing, baking, playing the piano and taking care of her family and extended family. She was a friend and a spiritual mother to many.
Betty accepted the Lord as her personal Savior and was a faithful member of Cedar Avenue Church of God in Sharon, serving in various ministries and leadership positions including the Deaconess Board, youth adviser, Sunday school teacher and Super Saints ministry.
On June 5, 1965, she married Herbert D. Mosley, to whom she was happily married for 44 years. She was a dedicated, loving wife and mother.
Betty leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, at home; two loving daughters, a son, four sisters, two brothers, eight grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Lillian Bowden; two brothers, Samuels Hendricks Jr. and Fredrick M. Hendricks; a niece, Kathy Carter; three nephews, Michael Carter, Jeff Carter and James Mills; and two brothers-in-law, Charles W. Harris and Fredrick Hairston.
