Johnny Luther Cox, 53, died Thursday, February 11, 2010.

Johnny was born April 12, 1956 in Greenville to James Gordon Cox and Sara Lou Cox. He worked in the quality control department of Dow Chemicals and the Wacker Company. Johnny was an artist who wrote poetry and songs, played the guitar and sang, and was a huge Beatles fan. He was a fantastic grandfather and is missed by many.

Surviving are two daughters, a brother, two grandchildren, and his fiancee. His mother passed away nine days after Johnny's death in 2010 and his father followed in 2015.

His funeral, officiated by Rev. David Kelley, was held at Fletcher Funeral Services, with a graveside service in the mausoleum chapel of Greenville Memorial Gardens.

Johnny is buried near lovely flowering trees. Rest you easy, Johnny.
