At the age of 3 she contracted scarlet fever resulting in her becoming deaf for the rest of her life. But that did not stop her from loving and living life!
She married 1st husband Fredrick Voyle Farmer in 1929 and with him had 1 daughter, Eula Jean. 2 years later they divorced.
Lulus married her 2nd husband Terrence Darwin Homan in 1934, with whom she had 3 son's. La Var, Brent Howard, and Paul Jensen Homan. They set up home in Murry, Utah before moving to Inglewood Ca. They were married for 21 years until Terrence's death in 1955.
In 1958 she married her 3rd husband Henry Jones until his death in Nov. 1979.
She spent the remainder of her 19 years in California close to her daughter Eula "Jean" Higgins and her family until her death on 8 April 1998.
