Helen Ruth Potter, 74, passed away Monday, March 2, 2015. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Arlington Chapel. Interment: Johnson Station Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Arlington Chapel. Helen was born April 16, 1940, in Kemp to Robert Lee and Georgia Ella Brown. She was preceded in death by her father; husband, J.W. Potter; and brothers, Tommy and Wayne Brown. Survivors: Son, Jay Potter and wife, Anna; daughter, Kathy Kobell; sons, Danny Potter and wife, Nancy, and Donny Potter; mother, Georgia Adams; two brothers, two sisters; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
