Elizabeth is listed in the 1870 Census taken 11th of August of that year in the household of her daughter Lydia. Her death was therefore after this date. (this info provided by FAG member #46913217.

Note: It is reported that Elizabeth was partially scalped by Indians in her younger years and subsequently wore a scarf or head cover for the rest of her life. After William's death in 1853, Elizabeth made application for lands, and supporting her claim, were two attestants, Solomon and Elizabeth Logsdon, saying that she was the widow of William.
