Vera grew up in South Dakota and married Earl Berry. Together they raised four children, two boys and two girls, during challenging times. Her husband Earl had to leave South Dakota to find work in a mine in the Colorado Rockies near Climax. Eventually, they prospered and owned a restaurant in Denver and a motel located in the beautiful area of Pine Junction, CO, about 40 miles from Denver. She was a very kind and loving mother and grandmother. She is missed every day.
