WINCHESTER--Forrest Wayne Bousman, 83, of Winchester, IN, passed away Thursday morning, Novmeber 29, 2012 at Pine Knoll Rehabilitation Center of Winchester, IN.

He was born December 15, 1928 in Randolph County, Indiana, the son of Charles O. and Blanche E. (Harmon) Bousman.

He honorably served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Wayne was retired in 1979 from Warner Gear of Muncie, IN, and later worked for Hobley Insurance Agency in Farmland, IN. He was a member of the Farmland United Methodist Church, Farland Masonic Lodge where he had served as Treasurer, Fort Wayne Scottish Rite and Local 287 UAW.

He leaves to cherish his memory a son, William Bousman of Winchester, IN; a son--in-law, John DeHoff of Union City, IN; four granddaughters; and a sister, Ruth Brosher of Dunkirk, IN.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a wife, Doris (2004); a daughter, Kathy DeHoff (2006); two sisters; and a brother.

A service to celebrate Wayne's life will be 1 p.m. Monday, December 3, 2012 at Thornburg Memorial Chapel of Parker City, IN. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery, north of Farmland. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Farmland United Methodist Church or the American Heart Association. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
