Mabel June Butler Willhite passed away Friday, December 16, 1994 in Bountiful, Utah of congestive heart failure.

Born to Ovid and Martha McDaniel Butler June 7, 1906 in Harrison County, Missouri.

Married Bennett Orr Willhite; he died July 1993.

Educated in Bethany High School, Harrison County, Missouri. BS degree from University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Masters degree from Utah State University. Teacher of English and English literature in the Salt Lake school system (retired). Member of Wasatch Presbyterian Church, Salt Lake City.

Survived by two brothers, both of Bethany, Missouri; one sister of Bonner Springs, Kansas; a son, Jed B. Willhite of Centerville, Utah; three grandchildren, Dr. Calvin Willhite, Fremont, Calif.; Bruce Willhite, Omaha, Neb.; and Catherine Stacy of Clearfield, Utah; two great-grandsons of Clearfield, Utah.
