Helen I. Barrow, age 79, of Spencer, died January 28, 2005 at Bloomington Hospital.
Born July 10, 1925, in Monroe County, she was the daughter of Cornelius and Nettie (McGuire) Fielder.
She retired from J.C. Penney in Martinsville. She was a member and played the piano at Zions Hill Baptist Church. She had played the piano since she was very young, and everyone loved her coconut cream pies she baked.
She was the wife of Melvin E. Barrow.
She was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter, Isabella Nicole Williams; two brothers, Frank Fielder and Fred Fielder; and five sisters, Naomi Hacker, Thelma Jean Mobley, Pearl Fritch, Martha Randall and Margie Brown; and one daughter-in-law, Joyce Miller.
Burial will be in Little Union Cemetery.
