Frank R. Geist, 90, of Whitehall, Pa., died Friday, March 31, 2006 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Shirely W. (Mortimer) Geist. Together they celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary on September 7, 2005. Born March 23, 1916 in Coplay, he was the son of the late Lloyd A. and Helen A. (Miller) Geist. He was an office manager for the Culbro Corp., Allentown, Pa., for 20 years before retiring in 1978. He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Coplay, where he was a past consistory member and past treasurer. He served as a first sergeant in the Army during World War II. He also was a member of American Legion Post 426, Coplay.

Survivors: Wife; daughter, Sandra J., wife of Harlan Kunkel, of Whitehall; brother, Leonard and his wife, Betty Geist, of Schnecksville; two grandsons, James Kunkel and Richard Kunkel.

Services: private, at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, Pa. Burial will be in Coplay Cemetery.
