Zelma Patton Combs of New Lebanon, Ohio, beloved widow of the late Kenny Combs, departed this life Sunday, December 16, 2012 at the New Lebanon Health and Rehabilitation Center in New Lebanon, Ohio, at the age of 87 years, 4 months and 26 days. She was a daughter of the late Ernie Sr. and Edith Taulbee Patton, born at Campton, Kentucky on July 20, 1925. Zelma was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenny Combs; her parents, Ernie Sr. and Edith Taulbee Patton; one daughter, Carol Ficker; five brothers, Buford Patton, Lee Patton, Ernie Patton, Jr., Richard Patton and Kenneth Patton and four sisters, Daisy Martin, Bernice Howell, Otilla Carson and Exie Beasely. She also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, December 21, 2012 with Rev. Gil Morrow officiating.
