Victoria -- Isidor Geist, 81, Victoria, died Thursday, April 23, 1992, at Hays Medical Center. Mr. Geist was born July 13,1910, at Victoria.

He had been a farmer in the Victoria area and was a resident of Salina for 16 years, where he worked for the city of Salina, moving back to Victoria in 1979. He was a member of St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria.

Survivors include his wife, Ledwina of the home; two sons, Frank of Lebanon and Don of Herington; three daughters, Rita Archer of Norton, Shirley Geist of Salina and Geraldine Shomaker of Clarksville, Tenn.; four sisters, Melosina Rohleder of Wichita, Appolonia Dechant of Smith Center, Aegidia Dinkel of Salina and Magdalen Pfannenstiel of Hays; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria, the Rev. Gregory Beyer officiating. Burial will in St. Fidelis Cemetery. A parish vigil will be at 7:30 p.m. and a Daughters of Isabella rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Sunday at Cline's Mortuary, Victoria.

Memorials may be made to St. Fidelis Church Charitable Fund. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and after 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, 412 Main St., Victoria, 67671.
