She was born Nov. 30, 1927, in Monroeville to Charles B. and Mary C. (Krebs) Roeder.
Alice was a lifetime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monroeville, and was a longtime volunteer at Fisher Titus Hospital, Norwalk. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed family get-togethers with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by five sons, Dick (Barb) Bores of Bellevue, Steve (Kathy) Bores of Danville, Calif., Bob (Pam) Bores and John (Mary Lou) Bores, both of Bellevue, and Mark (Patty) Bores of Monroeville; 12 grandchildren, Craig Bores, Christine Greilich, Nicole Bores, Luke Bores, Jill Mynarsky, Matthew Bores, Brad Bores, Brian Bores, Mike Bores, Jenny Bores, Kate Parr and Ryan Bores; 14 great-grandchildren; one sister, Helen Hicks of Willard; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Bores, in 1988, whom she married Nov. 25, 1944; her parents; one granddaughter, Lisa Bores; and siblings, Charles Roeder, Virginia Opper, Mabel Martin and George Roeder.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 9, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 66 Chapel St., Monroeville, with Father William Pifher officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
