On Sunday afternoon Mr. George Denmead buried a child, and after seeing some of his friends to the depot, started to return to his home in the 6th Ward. He was taken ill on the way and when he reached his house went immediately to bed. He died about four o'clock yesterday morning of heart disease. He was a member of Union Lodge of Odd Fellows, which is this afternoon attending his funeral.
