Same person as #143480525 - but no other way to list his alias other than to create two identical memorials.
Went by the name of Allen Jay Steuart in business, and this is the name on his grave. This alias was a combination of several of his uncles' first names.
Son of Byron Perry Fink, Sr and his wife Mary Randolph Rose. Brother of Byron Perry Fink, Jr.
He was survived by his second wife, Susan Sims Driver, whom he married in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1946; they had no children.
He was also survived by his only child, Mary Harvey Fink (Memorial ID 107038681), and his first wife, Barbara Gray Myers. He and Barbara were married on 30 December 1933 at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Farmville, North Carolina; they subsequently divorced on 11 April 1945 in Washington, North Carolina.
Additionally, he was survived by his brother, two granddaughters and two grandsons. He was predeceased by his parents and one grandson, Lawrence Harvey Moore.
A childhood accident mangled one of his hands, rendering him unsuitable for military service. Eventually, he became the owner of the rides and several food concessions with a carnival and he and Susie traveled the country together. When they grew older, they sold the business and bought a combination motel/trailer park on Nebraska Ave., in Tampa, which they ran until retirement.
Al was heavily involved with Shriner activities for many years and it is to them that his estate would eventually pass. He was a large man with a hearty laugh and wicked sense of humor. In keeping with his wishes, his widow purchased a bottle of Crown Royal, met with his cronies at his favorite bar where they toasted him. His cremains were placed in the bottle with the remaining whiskey, and then placed into the niche at the cemetery.
