Earl was the second husband to Betty (Locke) Baechle Neal (my aunt) and was an easy going man, kind and gentle. He was a veteran of WWI. Earl died of an heart attack while taking his daily neighborhood walk and my aunt gave me his watch that was an expensive wind up one in those days and the crystal was broken when he fell to the sidewalk. I had a new crystal placed in the face and got many years of service from it. He was a good man and a good husband to Betty.
