Ollie E. (Cooper) Trimnell, 93, Waldron, died Wednesday at the Waldron Health Care Home.

Born March 27, 1906, in Bartholomew County, she was the daughter of Samuel and Letha (Chrisman) Cooper.

She married George W. Trimnell on March 13, 1929, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 11, 1991.

Mrs. Trimnell was a homemaker. She was an organist for the Geneva United Methodist Church, where she was a member. Previously, she had been an organist for the St. Louis Crossing United Methodist Church, Bartholomew County, for 40 years.

Survivors include a son, Mahlon Trimnell, Flat Rock; a sister, Vesta Collins, Greensburg; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Norman Funeral Home, Hope, and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Geneva United Methodist Church.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with the Revs. Cliff Bunch and Daryl Gressel officiating.

Burial will be in Lewis Creek Baptist Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Shelby County or the Geneva United Methodist Church.
