Mrs. Clara Eliza Jones, 82, of 210 Hardy Avenue, Berkley, died Sunday at 5:25 p.m. in a local hospital after an illness of one week. A native of Baltimore, she had made her home in this section most of her life. She was daughter of the late Everett Monroe and Eliza Hare Tilley and wife of John Wesley Jones. Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. G.C. White, of Norfolk and Mrs. Richard H. Pratt of Williamsburg; three sons, Edward T. Jones and Raymond T. Jones of Norfolk and Wesley T. Jones of Chicago, Ill.; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The body was removed to the Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk, where funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.

Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Mrs. Jones was the daughter of the late Edward Monroe and Eliza Hare Tilley and the wife of John Wesley Jones.
