St. Martinville, LA - Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 2, 1997 at St. Martin De Tours Catholic Church for Lisa Ward Bernard, 27 of Mandeville, who died Wednesday, July 30, 1997 in St. Tammany Parish. Burial will be in Forest Park East Cemetery, Shreveport.
Survivors include her mother, Sissy Cockerham, Shreveport; step father Wayne Cockerham, Shreveport; husband Michael Bernard, Mandeville; maternal grandmother, Eva Collins, Robeline; one son, Lucas Michael Bernard, Mandeville; and one brother, John Robert Ward, Shreveport.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Ward; maternal grandfather, Irving Collins and paternal grandparents, Robert and Julia Ward.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. til service time on Saturday. A Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Friday. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
