partial obituary:
C. Everett Cogswell, 73, of Rhode Island Street, a wood patternmaker for the Goodwin & Bradley Pattern Co., Providence, for 45 years before retiring in 1980, died yesterday at home. He was the husband of Dorothy P. (Catley) Cogswell.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Warren E. and Mary (Francis) Cogswell.
Mr. Cogswell was a World War II Marine Corps veteran, served in the South Pacific Theater, and held the Purple Heart. He was a member of American Legion Post 92, Johnston. He was a member of the Patternmakers League of North America and the Providence Presbyterian Church.
Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, a daughter, a sister and three grandchildren.
