Sarah Ellen Altizer, 72, passed away March 9, 2015.
She was born February 25, 1943 in Robinson, Illinois to the late Herbert and Olive (Beck) Merriman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Anna.
Sarah moved to Manatee County back in the early 60's from Indiana.
She was a member of the SCA (Society for Creative Anacronism). She had worked for Lykes Pasco, SWFWM (Swiftmud), Neilson Media Research and Wis International.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, James Paul Altizer III of San Jose, California; daughters, Lealia Kathleen Altizer of Brooksville, Florida and Jennifer Michelle Lane and her husband Jeffery also of Brooksville; grandchildren, Jimmy, Donny, Kenny, Lulu and Jeffy.
There will be a visitation on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Skyway Memorial Funeral Home, 5200 US Highway 19 N. Palmetto, Florida 34221.
Funeral will begin at 2:00 PM followed by interment in Skyway Memorial Gardens.
