This is believed to be the son of Josiah Farmer (1839-1888, likely to be buried in Pleasant Grove, unmarked) and Eliza A. (Coleman) Farmer (1843-1917, buried in Pleasant Grove). He would be the brother of Harriet "Hattie" C. (Farmer) Raper (1868-1948), Charles B. Farmer (1871-1940, buried in Pleasant Grove), William C. Farmer (1872-1940, buried in Pleasant Grove), and John C. Farmer (b. 1873). In both the 1900 & 1910 census he was living in the household of his brother, William C. Farmer, in this area. The type grave marker is also consistent with those used for his mother and brother William in this cemetery.
