Funeral services for Dora Gonzales, 54, of Houston, will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2001, at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg, with interment following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Deacon Benny Munguia will officiate the services. A rosary service will be held 7 p.m. Monday, April 9, at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
Dora was born April 1, 1947 in Dewalt to Enrique Arizpe and Juanita Sustaita Arizpe. She passed away April 7 in Houston. She was a member of St. Jerome's Catholic Church in Houston.
She is preceded in death by her father, Enrique Arizpe.
She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Pete Gonzales of Houston; daughters, Mimi Vangorder and husband, Jim, Shelia Garza and husband, Tim, Marissa Gonzales, all of Houston; son, Max Torres of Austin; stepdaughter, Patricia Garcia and husband, Ernesto, of Houston; stepson, Daniel Gonzales and wife, Socorro, of Atlanta, Ga.; mother, Juanita Arizpe of Richmond; sisters, Alejandra Gonzales and husband, Richard, of Rosenberg, Susie Marietta and husband, Larry, of Needville, Janie McNeil and husband, Steve, of Beasley, Lupe Munguia and husband, Eddie, of Rosenberg, Mary Arizpe of Richmond; brothers, John Oliverez and wife, Sylvia, of East Bernard, Lala Arizpe and wife, Tonie, of Sugar Land; 10 grandchildren; and numerous other relatives, and many friends.
