Mrs. Louisa Sullivan, one of the oldest and most highly respected ladies of the county passed away at her home three miles west of town at six o'clock Saturday afternoon. She was 93 years of age and had been in feeble health for sometime but never unable to walk around and her sudden death came as a shock to her family and friends. She had been blest with excellent health for one of her age and had retained her mental faculties in a remarkable way. Surviving her are three children, J. T. Sullivan, with whom she resided; Mrs. Ella Hargis of near this place, and Mrs. Ada Cothron of the Cedar Bluff community. She was the widow of Josephus Sullivan who died about 24 years ago. Mrs. Sullivan was the last surviving member of a family of four sons and eight daughters of her parents, William and Louisa Hunter Robinson.

Burial was made at two o'clock Sunday afternoon in the family graveyard at the home following funeral services conducted by the Rev. W. C. Folkes of Hartsville. Mrs. Sullivan was a member of Mt. Pisgah Methodist church for many years.
