My grandmother was an excellant seamstress. She used to take sewing into her home. I used to go spend a couple weeks in the summer with them. They lived right up the street from the swimming pool and I remember spending alot of time there. I also had a friend across the street that I used to go play with. I can only remember that her name was Jane. I have alot of good memories. She was the mother of Rodney Hugh b. Dec 10 1920, Neosho, Newton Co., Mo. d Jul 4 1969 Rock Island, Illinois. He was diabetic. Emma Jean McKenzie b Jul 6 1923, John Elbert b Apr 27 1929 Joplin, Mo (my Dad), Larry Lavon b Aug 16 1939
