Graveside services for Robert Frederick “Bob” Freeman, 83, of Lufkin will be held in the Latexo Cemetery in Houston County with Brother Horace Fletcher officiating.

Mr. Freeman was born July 20, 1931 in the Ephesus Community, Houston County, Texas to Ida Florence (Porter) and Robert Frederick Freeman and died Tuesday, March 10, 2015 in a local hospice facility.

Mr. Freeman had resided in Lufkin since 1959. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from Lufkin Industries following 28 years of employment as a technical illustrator.

Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Cindy Freeman and Rick and Jennie Freeman, all of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Brian Boudreaux of Goldthwaite; granddaughters and husbands, Erin and Tony Lopez, Shelley and Rabi Jabbour, all of Lufkin, and Macy and Clint Haffey of Anacortes, Washington; grandsons and wives, Denim and Jennifer Holley of Lufkin, Jeb Freeman of Denver, Colorado, and Sam and Tricia Freeman of Tomball; great-granddaughters, Kendall Lopez, Kennedy Lopez, Adilyn Jabbour, all of Lufkin, and Kate Freeman of Tomball; great-grandsons, Alex Freeman of Lufkin, Drew Freeman of The Woodlands and Aiden Jabbour of Lufkin; brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Ruth Freeman of Latexo; sister, Odessa Reed of Trinity; mother of his children and her husband, Joan and James Hobson of Latexo; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters-in-law, A.J. Freeman, Doug and Mary Freeman, and Willard and Kathryn Freeman; sister and brother-in-law, Dolly and Bob Goldstein; brother-in-law, Porter Reed; and companion and friend, Sherley Taylor.
