Vicki Snavely lost her life
at Crabtree Falls ...

But she is still alive.
She has a message for you.

Miss Vicki Snavely was one
of 15 Liberty Baptist College
students who decided to spend
their summer counseling
children at Summer Holiday
Camp for Children on Treasure
Island.
On July 4, 1979, Vicki and
several of her friends took the
day off to go hiking at Crabtree
Falls in Tyro, Virginia. As they
were climbing around the falls,
Vicki slipped from the trail and
fell 150 feet to her instant
death.
A tragedy, people say. It is
certain that Vicki will be deeply
missed by her family, friends,
and fellow workers. . ,
But what Vicki and her
family would want you to know
is that she is still very much
alive - in heaven. On August
28, 1978, as a freshman at
LBC, Vicki received Jesus
Christ as her personal Saviour.
At that point, God gave her
everlasting life. She lived a
vibrant, full life on this earth.
And she is now in the very
Presence of the God she had
chosen to serve.

Vicki graduated from Cedar
Cliff High School, Camp Hill, PA
and completed the academic year
1977 – 1978 at Shippensburg
State College before transferring
to LBC, Lynchburg, VA.
