Cassandra Marlene Ahmann (Cassie), 16-year-old daughter of Stephen and Laurie Ahmann of Warden, Washington, passed away January 1, 2007 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Cassie was born in Centralia, Washington on Feb. 20, 1990. She was a lighthearted child, quick to laugh and play, and loved helping her parents on their farm. As a young woman, Cassie had many interests, from playing piano and guitar to volleyball and choir, though she was happiest cheerleading for the Warden wrestling team. She loved digital photography and made special videos for family and friends. Cassie's room is filled with pictures of her many, many friends, all of whom remember her as not just someone to laugh with, but someone who was there for them. She was an active member of the Queen of All Saints Youth Group and participated wherever she could as a member of the parish. Cassie was a much-loved friend of the residents at Hearthstone Inn Assisted Living, who watched her grow over the past seven years.

Cassie is survived by her parents; sisters Hannah, Monica and Brittany; and brother Luke.

Holy Rosary will be prayed January 4 at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Warden. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Jan. 5, also at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church with Monsignor Ron Metha and Monsignor Martin O. Skehan as celebrants. Interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Warden. Arrangements with Kayser's Chapel.
