Evelyn and my Mama were two of the strongest and hardest working women I have ever known in my life, all they knew was hard work! Evelyn and my mama were girlfriends, young girls growing up. Evelyn and her family have always been in our lives, always...she was like a second mama to us kids. Their farm was right across a field from ours. We didn't have a camera when I was a kid so Evelyn would walk down to our house and take pictures of us kids, she loved pictures and loved taking pictures as much as I do! Evelyn would have turned 92 years old this May 30th and still had plans of making a garden...she always made a big garden and shared with everyone in the valley. She loved and worked so hard for her family...she always put her family before herself! She was a farm girl, she had a cow/calf commercial herd, she loved cattle! I called Evelyn a couple weeks before she passed away, she was telling me how much that she and Carol missed Charles, and still needed him so badly but she guess God needed him more! She also told me the first thing she was going to tell my mama when she got to Heaven was that she had taken care of her little girl the years she has been gone! There will never be such a precious, loving, sweet, kind and giving lady as Evelyn Inlow! She will be LOVED and she will be MISSED by her family and friends, forever!
