CARL ROBERT OEHRING

Carl Robert OEHRING, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert OEHRING of Meadow Grove, was born March 7, 1886, on a farm in Sargent county, North Dakota. He died at a Norfolk hospital on Friday, December 20, 1946, at the age of sixty years, nine months and thirteen days. He was baptized and confirmed in the Reorganized church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at Cornland, Missouri, where he lived with his parents until the family moved to Meadow Grove. He attended the public schools in Meadow Grove and lived there until 1934. He was married to Addie Bell TEETER in 1920 and three children were born to them: Eva Mae DEITZ, Long Beach, Ca, Helen Louise GILSTER, North Platte, and Clarence OEHRING of Oakdale. Mr. and Mrs. Oehring moved to Oakdale six months ago from Neligh where they had resided nearly twelve years. Mr. OEHRING was a carpenter and cabinetmaker. In addition to his wife and three children, a stepson, Kenneth L TEETER, of East Freedom, Pa., four grandchildren; six brothers and three sisters survive him. Funeral services were held in the Congregational Church at Neligh Thursday afternoon, December 26. Burial was made in Laurel Hill cemetery, Neligh.
