Charles "Chuck" Chaplin
CLYDE — Charles Q. "Chuck" Chaplin, 51, Clyde, died Sunday, Jan. 25, 1998, at Salina Regional Health Center.
Mr. Chaplin was born Jan. 26, 1946 at Klamath Falls, Ore., and was a resident of Clyde since 1993, moving from California. He was a Korean War Air Force veteran and a quality control inspector for Lawrence Engineering, Burbank, Calif., for more than 30 years.
Survivors include his father, Claude of Sutcliffe, Nev.; a brother, Glen of Manhattan; and three sisters, Phyllis Sterling and Claudia Olivira, both of Clyde, and Mary Lou Channell of Derby.
A private memorial service will be later. The body was cremated.
There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, is handling arrangements.
