York Daily Record (PA) - Monday, March 8, 1993

PARKTON, Md. - A. Norma Ensor, 72, of Old York Road, died at 12:37 a.m. Sunday at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Emerson L. Ensor.

The service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Cedar Grove United Methodist Church, 2015 Mount Carmel Road, Parkton. Burial will be in Black Rock Cemetery, Butler, Md. Visitations will be 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, both at the J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary Inc., 24 Second St., New Freedom, Pa.

Mrs. Ensor was born in Baltimore. She was the daughter of the late Henry C. and Myrtle E. (von Lossberg) Wagner.

For many years, she was a substitute elementary teacher with Baltimore County Schools. She had also been a private secretary in Baltimore.
At present, she was the organist and choir director of Cedar Grove United Methodist Church. Previously, she was organist at Maryland Line United Methodist Church, and at Arlington United Methodist Church, Baltimore.

She was music director at the Mount Carmel, West Liberty and Jacksonville Senior Centers. She played the keyboard with an ensemble from Parkton for many weddings and dances.

A member of Maryland Line United Methodist Church, she belonged to the Sunshine Sisters, Gleaners and Young-At-Heart groups of the church.
Mrs. Ensor is survived by two daughters, Donna G. Kelley of Parkton, and Linda C. McGraw of Stewartstown, Pa.; two sons, Keith E. Ensore and Kevin L. Ensor, both of Parkton; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Audrey Hoffman of West Friendship.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Robert Barnes, pastor of Cedar Grove United Methodist Church, and her pastor, the Rev. Charlotte A. Hendee.
