She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Larry Lee Dike; daughters, Rene, Darla, Jamie, Jill; a son, Terry and his wife Cindy; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandson. She was a faithful wife and mother, she loved unconditionally. Jane was faithful in work, retiring after 32 years with the telephone company. She was a faithful member of Green Acres Baptist Church where she was active in the choir for many years.
She was known affectionately as "Plain Jane," but was anything but plain. Jane sparkled in so many ways. Her sparkle was very contagious, bringing light to those whom she touched every day, family and strangers. Quite stylish in her appearance, her true beauty was her heart. Jane's heart beat with love for Jesus, her husband, children, grandchildren and church family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hospice of East Texas Foundation, 4111 University Blvd., Tyler, 75701.
