Clement Gridley was born 07-May-1732 in Kensington, CT, married Sarah Hubbard on 25-Dec.-1755, daughter of Samuel Hubbard and Sarah Cole, in 1790 Berlin, Hartford Co, CT then moved 1799-1800 (per marriage of children) to Manlius, Onondaga Co, NY, (S.E. of Syracuse), died there 22-Jan.-1822 but buried at Pompey, New York.

Wills, Vol D-E, 1821-1834, pg 55-57: names son, Elijah, as administer of his Will, leaving him 40 acres and paying brothers Asahel, Jabez and Abel fifty dollars. Eliza Sevr? and Sarah each one cow. 3 single dau.: Lydia, Sarah, Abigail household furniture. gson Samuel Upson Gridley, 50 acres, son of Elijah.
